On Tuesday, our travelling squad for the Bayern game will be revealed, a fresh batch of training images will drop, and Erik ten Hag and one of his players will speak to the media in the pre-match press conference.

There is also plenty to look back on, as we relive Dimitar Berbatov’s hat-trick against Liverpool in 2010, Diogo Dalot’s club debut back in 2018, and Donny van de Beek’s first start and goal for the Reds in 2020.

It’s matchday in the UEFA Champions League, and before our senior team take on Bayern Munich in the evening, our Under-18s will face their German counterparts in the Youth League earleir in the day.

Wednesday is also the anniversary of the late, great Dennis Viollet being born in 1933, and our memorable 4-3 victory over Manchester City in 2009.
