During a conversation with Sportskeeda, S Sreesanth urged Team India to outplay Australia completely in the three-match ODI series and demoralize them ahead of the ICC World Cup 2023.

S Sreesanth, who represented India from 2006 to 2011, also requested the Indian team to rest Jasprit Bumrah during IND vs AUS ODI series if there is a niggle. He also stressed for rotating pacers during the series.
“It will be interesting to see the kind of pitches they offer to Australia in the series. But I want Bumrah to be rested if there is a niggle. Let him decide how his body is feeling. He deserves to make that decision and choose his priority. The use of fast bowlers would be crucial. They should rotate them and the fast bowlers should focus on bowling in partnerships,” the 40-year-old further said.
IND vs AUS 1st ODI will take place on Friday, September 22. The 2nd and the 3rd ODI are scheduled to be played on 24 and 27. Pat Cummins will lead Australia in the series.
Aussies have all of their key players in the squad. India will miss the services of key players like Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Kuldeep Yadav, and Hardik Pandya in the first two ODI games. However, they will be back in the 3rd ODI.
