In the midst of escalating tensions surrounding the 2023 Ghana Football Association (GFA) elections, experienced football administrator Takyi Arhin affectionately referred to as “Thunder,” has emphatically stated his disagreement with the growing chorus of voices accusing GFA President Kurt Okraku of election interference.

Takyi Arhin, who is known for giving his straightforward views, stated that such accusations are false.

“Nobody is afraid of elections the day we went for congress you were at the congress grounds if I were George Afriyie I wouldn’t have even picked a form it was a total overwhelming endorsement,” he told Peace FM as monitored by Footballghana.com

“He was given a standing ovation it was written all over the place that whoever contests Kurt do so at his own peril.

“So if someone says they are trying to manipulate the process I don’t know where they are coming from. There are no moralities in law that someone has fell foul of the law so morality we should pardon him and let him go,”
