“I swear by Elemis for my skincare so thought I’d give this a try.

“The packaging is definitely a dupe and the quality of the cleansing balm removes make-up just as well as the Elemis!

“However, the rose smell is not as prominent on the Aldi dupe.”

Ellie then confirmed that the high-end Elemis pro-collagen rose cleansing balm will set you back £38.

However, the new Aldi dupe of the rose cleansing balm costs just £6.99.

She continued: “Massive saving and brilliant at removing make-up! I do recommend!”

The beauty fan later added: “Each to their own but it just doesn’t have that luxury Elemis smell and feel to it.”

Social media users were stunned at the affordable dupe and many were eager to get their hands on the bargain buy.

One person said: “Need to try.”

Another tagged a friend and added: “Get me [one] please.”

A third commented: “Will go tomorrow.”

At the same time, many other beauty fans, who had tried Aldi’s dupe, were eager to share their thoughts on the cheap find.

One woman claimed: “This is a decent dupe.”

A second penned: “Of course you’d be sacrificing certain properties for the price difference but it really is a great product!”

While a third chimed in: “You’re right, but it does smell nice and works a treat. I’ll sacrifice the luxury feel of it for the sake of £30 odd while I can’t afford the real deal.”
