Barcelona left fans baffled by including Cristiano Ronaldo as a scorer in the post-match graphic on their official page.
Xavi Hernandez’s side battered Real Betis 5-0 away from home, with Portuguese pair Joao Felix and Joao Cancelo both scoring their first goals for the club.
Robert Lewandowski, Ferran Torres and Raphinha were also on target in the thumping win at the Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys.
But Barcelona’s social media team caused mass confusion shortly after the game when the posted the score.
The graphic uploaded to X, formerly known as Twitter, was correct for all of Barcelona’s goalscorers.
It was of course an error from the Barcelona social media admin, which was then taken down from the account.
Felix, meanwhile did actually pay tribute to Portugal teammate Ronaldo, with his goal celebration, which the five-time Ballon d’Or winner did for Manchester United in 2008.
The 23-year-old, who endured an unproductive time on loan at Chelsea last season, was deemed surplus to requirements at Atletico Madrid but is enjoying his football again at Barca.
“When you have a good structure, with all the players in their place and the ball circulates quickly, it’s easier for goals to arrive.
“The change has been good for me, I am very happy here and I hope to help the team as much as I can.
“I am working to be at the best level. There is a very good environment here, I am one more to help and with these players everything is easier,
