Athletic Club’s Ghanaian striker, Inaki Williams, has lauded the team’s stellar performance against Cadiz on Saturday, clinching a resounding 3-0 victory.

Following a goalless first half, Bilbao broke through with Gorka Guruzeta’s strike in the 66th minute, setting the stage for a commanding victory.

In a display of determination, Asier Villalibre netted his inaugural goal of the season just two minutes later, further solidifying the home team’s dominance.

Inaki Williams then capped off the triumph for Athletic Bilbao with the third goal, sealing a 3-0 triumph over Cadiz at the Estadio San Mames.

The 29-year-old culminated his exceptional performance with a precisely timed goal in injury time, notching his second league goal of the season in just five appearances.

Speaking after the game Williams said: “The team has been immense today and we have been very good so we deserved the three points.”

Inaki has two goals and one assist in five league matches this season.
