Academy graduate Mainoo, a key member of the 2022 FA Youth Cup-winning team under Travis Binnion, has made three senior appearances to date, including one start – in the Carabao Cup victory over Charlton Athletic at Old Trafford last January.

Hopefully both are now on track to step up their return to full fitness in order to provide more options in the engine room for manager Ten Hag.
